On Saturday the 14th at 4AM UTC/GMT we will be upgrading the operating system of our network load balancers to a newer version, one that will allow us to use both CPUs! Nifty, because multiprocessing is nice.

Since we have 2 load balancers, the plan is to upgrade 1 at a time, and there really should be very little impact to our website. Hopefully you won't notice a thing and I'll get to go back to the hotel and watch some wonderful late night infomercials.

We've got a lot of exciting projects coming up for 2010 and we're hoping that we'll be able to deliver them all to you, that you will find it useful/cool/lovely and then you will use the site even more. Behind-the-scenes work like this will give us the capacity to handle the anticipated traffic, so expect a few more maintenance windows especially in the beginning of next year as we've got some neat ideas to improve performance around here! We had the recent 30-45 minute outage yesterday due to one of our logging databases filling up disk space -- not so great design coupled with my human error in handling the initial problem -- and it looks like we're going to finally have some resources to eliminate stuff like that. I can't wait!

As usual, I will be updating status.livejournal.org before and after, just in case you are not able to reach our main website during the work.

Hi there, I did the plan a year and a  half ago and lost almost a stone! However, a summer of gorging has made me put on all this weight again which i had held off for so long, and I am in really bad eating habits and this needs to change.

I don't have scales at the moment so I am going by inch size.

Right now I am
Waist: 30 in
Under boobs- 31ins
Hips 40 ins
Bum 42 ins
Left Thigh-25 ins
Right Thigh 24 ins
Right upper Arm- 12 ins
Left Upper arm 12 ins

My aim is to lose 2 inches hips and bum and anywhere I can.
I play sports but eat A LOT

Would anyone like to recommend a diet which they like to use?

Food - 0/2 estimate of 400 calories kept down. i'm so sick of wasting food and time and having it literally flushed down the toilet

Daily Self Esteem Challenge - 2/2 i did my eyebrows, used one of those pumice stones on my feet (really needed that!), shaved and gave myself a hair mask. i'm going to go tanning tomorrow and possibly dye my hair

C- got a flu shot... i'm so resposible ;) and now my arm hurts.

ps- my doctor wanted to weigh me bc i said i know the birth control had made me gain weight, but i resisted. she said to do it in the morning which i just did... and yes how fucking depressing... 1 am 126.8.....   the first time i started the 28 day plan i was 120 and wanted to lose 5.. now i'm struggling with 7 more lbs i'm not usd to!!!  i'm being goos and working out hard... i don't think it's gonna come off.  any suggestions..

pps- i didn't weigh myself at the beginning of this cycle bc i didn;t want to know but i guess i'll use 127 as my start weight.
